The new Broad Contemporary Art Museum building will be a world-class design project featuring stone cladding, exposed roof trusses, skylight roof systems and exterior sunshades. The project encompasses the addition of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum and a grand entrance pavilion. There will be a central concourse to unify the campus, the Ahmanson Building renovation, a complete reorganization of the museum’s collection and refurbishment of LACMA West to accommodate more galleries and offices. A 500 car underground parking structure and site work will also be added.
